Where can I find out the current billing information for my VDC?

For detailed billing information, login to your MyServices account (http://myservices.interoute.com) and check the 'Orders' tab.

Where can I find out about the pricing of VDC resources and services?

You are billed at the end of each month for the virtual infrastructure resources used (virtual CPU, RAM, and data storage). Usage is calculated per hour. There are no charges for network use, except for extreme circumstances where our fair use limits are exceeded. Windows OS licenses are charged per month (see How does licensing of Windows OS work?), as are Linux Enterprise OS licenses. To find out more, see Virtual Data Centre Pricing.

What differences are there between a trial and full account?

The VDC trial gives you $200/£150/€180 of credit to spend on VDC cloud resources (CPU, RAM and storage), usable for a maximum period of 30 days. You can use any of the zones in the Europe and North America regions, but not in the Asia region. You can connect zones using Private Direct Connect (MPLS IPVPN) networks. Public Direct Connect (IPAC) networks are not available except by special request. Support for trial users is via LiveChat; Interoute Support services are not available.

When is LiveChat available?

The VDC LiveChat team is available Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 18.00 UK time (09.00 to 19.00 CET). At other times, please contact Interoute Customer Support.

Do you have technical support teams I can call?

Yes, the Interoute Customer Support Centre is available at any time 24/365 via toll free telephone on +420 225 352 904 or email support@interoute.com. For more information see: How to get support for VDC.

In which countries is the Interoute VDC service available?

VDC services are based in Interoute's data centres ('VDC zones') in three global regions: Europe, North America, and Asia. There are 12 zones in Europe (London (2), Slough, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Milan, Geneva, Zurich, Madrid and Istanbul); New York and Los Angeles in America; Hong Kong and Singapore in Asia. Another new zone in Stockholm will be opening soon. There are no charges for data transfers between any of the VDC zones, or to/from the Internet (subject to a fair use policy). You can use any of the VDC zones in all of the regions from any location on the Internet.

How long does it take to set up Interoute VDC?

The Interoute VDC service can be enabled with three clicks. A virtual machine can be up and running and connected to the internet or a VPN in under five minutes.
